jzMobile is a company dedicated to the development and support of software applications, or apps, for all types of popular mobile devices such as phones and tablet computers.

Mobile App History - In 2007 Apple announced the availability of the iPhone.  Although several manufacturers had previously added functionality beyond the basic phone to mobile devices, most notably Blackberries email program most of this functionality was difficult to utilize and what has become known as "apps" simply didn't exist.  The iPhone did what prior mobile devices and PDA's couldn't.  Make it very easy to access other applications that we could use on a mobile platform including: calendar, email, text messaging, photos, YouTube, Google Maps, Web Browser to name just a few standard apps included with the iPhone device.  Beyond the initial touch screen, easy to use interface, was the availability of thousands of applications or apps that would operate on the phone

Because of the genius of Apple's IOS development platform thousands of developers were able to create apps in hundreds of categories and have mostly the same look and feel of the Apple apps.  So like the Apple apps, users were able to learn and use the apps with little or no training.
